The journey
Self Sacrifice : A learning lesson

I'm so proud of you: Aloysius, Addison, Dorothy, Melanie and not forgetting Ben Long! Admit it or not, each and everyone of you did an awesome job in contributing to this prayer session. (^_^)

Anyway, during the day i was put to the test. Deciding between clubbing with Shu and Sim or sleep. I chose clubbing initially but later thought twice and chose sleep instead. As mentioned before, there isn't a need for huge sacrifices like giving up one's life to save the world. It could just be little sacrifices in daily lives. In this context, i choose to sacrifice hanging out wif my best friends and getting enough rest so that i could help out with youth canteen the following day. Despite having to wake up 6a.m in the morning i had loads of fun frying prata and working with people. Let me share with you a secret... i don't cook at home. Surprisingly, i'm meddling with the wok and stove in church. (fret not, the food were well cooked) It was indeed a great learning experience for me!

Ah yes...n to my sheep mascot, really enjoyed working with you today. Xin Ku Ni Le!

In the meantime a little update on school. It's been rather hectic, because of the fact that i have to do alot of research and self learning. Graphic design, a whole new course to me. Re-learning and being exposed to designers in that field. No more, Tadao ando, Norman foster, Carlo Scarpa...etc. Some graphic design terms even seem like greek to me. I guess it'll take awhile before i get used to it. How's my classmate? What can i say? Simply friendly? Oh yes, did i mentioned? i bump into Roanne on my way home!(ex- sec sch classmate)it somehow feels better when there's a familar face around school.
