The journey
Black Horse, Big Fish

Lately been busy with school, final assessment due next tuesday. Looks like my spending limit is gonna increase soon. With the printing of namecards, A1 boards...etc.

Anyway along with it, during the week i went for a job interview too! School holiday is coming and i'm gonna earn back those cash that i've spent for my projects. Back to the job interview - I applied for a job as a part time display artist. In other words, the jobscope is very much like a visual merchandiser...in charge of window display. But in this case, for the display of samsung mobile. The pay is rather good, working hours are pretty much like retail hours but on top of it, i'm allowed to take a break during weekends. Only emergency case then will have to work on weekend which is very good because it doesn't clash with church. And so i thought that's all. But there's more to it! The person in charge looked through my portfolio and decided that i should meet the boss because there are more job opportunities available. For that day itself i was offered freelance 3D rendering. But i didn't dare take it up because it's been a year since i last touch any interior designing stuff. Just as i thought everything ends there...but there's more! That lady boss named Iris seems so keen in offering me something. So she ended up saying she might even take me in as an intern because she feels that graphic design and visual merchandising shares a link. Oh dear...i think at the sound of internship, it just didn't sound very good. Who knows what's the pay?? Using the school's internship as a guage, the maximum pay for an intern is $600 a month only. That's rather low. But anyway she say she'll consider first then get back to me. Till then i'll ask for more details. But for now the part time display artist is still good enough for me.

But i do hope that it would be a pleasant environment for me to work with, good pay and working hours. Most importantly it shouldn't mess up my life. Anyway thank you Lord for this opportunity.
