The journey
Colourful life

My weeks have been quite adventurous lately. Shall start with Goodbye Goodman Party first. It's been great to be able to catch up with friends and classmates on what they've been doing for the past 2 months of holiday. The party rocks with live bands performance. Was exposed to a few and i personally like this band called allura. Gosh! The vocalist rocks~ Finally at last, manage to hear my lecturer-Ginette's band : Astreal. Sorry to say...but i didn't really like Gin's voice. haha. Along with it came this crazy band called tiramisu. Man...the lead looks as though he was a drunken and doing some dodgy, sleezy entertainment, which was bad. But overall it was a great party. Probably will post up some pic soon. And yes, looking forward to the moving in party!

Back to work, the entire week i've been out shooting with my boss. Hot sun and arm aches. So if you think shooting is fun, might have to think twice. The only pros about it is that i get to so call "escape" from work. Time past even faster when I'm out though. Today was the extreme because we had to do video shoots at construction site. Safety precaution includes wearing safety boots and helmet. Darn! I bet i look like an ultra toot with those. Plus the heavy camera tripod and boots. Walking on uneven ground is a real challenge! Thank God I'm not a guy...Can't imagine myself going ns...wearing heavy boots and carrying the rifle which probably weighs a tonne. Guess with all that, i earn myself a free macdonald meal but i guess someday i might have to pay my boss back the treat.

And something made my day yesterday. After the morning shoot, my boss alighted me at the office while he went home to bath. An agent called and requested to make some ammendments to the work i was doing. Since my boss wasn't available so he directed the person to speak to me instead. Had to do alot of minor changes to the copy but it was a pleasant experience to meet someone nice. Upon completion, the person on the other end Thanked me and said she really appreciates it. Which really made me felt good. It was my very first time which I had to come direct contact to a "client" and it's been good. Unlike the others that i came across indirectly through my boss's forwarded emails. Some clients can be demanding, fussy and at times absurb. Some of the experiences which my collegue shared with me were really hilarious! Shall share some of the classics ones... Sand told me there was this once which he came across a client asking him to sent an artwork to her through email with the paperclip icon (attachment) which he did! But the client responded and says she couldn't view the attached file. So he uploaded it to a link. Guess what the client replied? She said...i do not have internet connection and therefore i'm unable to view the artwork. Haha! Sand was like ultra diao! If she doesn't have internet connection then how does she correspond through email?

Here's another classic one which really made me laugh out loud! Sand had this client who wanted the artwork to be in pure white. So on screen the whitiest was #FFFFFF and he gave the client that. Guess what the client replied?
Client> Erm...i went to use the liquid paper and compare. The liquid paper is whiter, can i have that white instead?
Haha...ultimate joker man! Whenever I thought back about this i just can't help but to laugh at it.

okiez...guess that's all for now. Another round of shooting awaits tomorrow.
